Ethanol and cpper react. Fact. E10 is 10% ethanol an kunifer is 90 odd % copper, so there will be a reaction. Yes, hardly noticeable, but with injection, you do not any possible bits of coroded copper - however small - settling on the injector seats.

I doubt very much that any well known supplier would ignore this chemical fact. Certainly not Jenvey.

I am sure there are many cars using copper fuel lines and they are probably fine, but it is not best practice especially when more suitable material is out there.

That's why I always try to use Super unleaded, which in the UK is E5.

Hal you say it’s fact well that’s what I question. I can find no fact. Ethanol is ethyl alcohol which is the active constituent of beer, wine and scotch, etc. In the production of scotch for example all the vessels and pipework are made of copper. Now that is critical as we drink it.
I’m happy to be corrected by I think it’s a myth.
