Directing me to a black paint shop course! D
I actually use my telephone with Waze on it. Quite extraordinarily good all over Europe.
Oh and on the dash top there is a bluetooth speaker so that I can here the damned thing - and listen to music in ferry queues.

Hi
Just to bring this thread back on track (a meander is fine though) has anyone here tried a standard Sierra/Mondeo/Focus/Fiesta 14" ET47 steel wheel on their Sierra hubbed Spyder Zetec car (perhaps just to roll it around)?
If so were the clearances ok? If they were then these (the ET47) wheels would bring each wheel inboard by 25mm (1 inch) which is approximately what I would want.
Many thanks
Berni

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Hi
Further information on this for anyone interested in this matter.
I have been playing with wheels and tyre combos on my Spydercars Zetec chassis, and in a 14 165 75 tyre, which is almost exactly the same diameter as standard wheel, the offset would need to be approximately 33 at the front.
The standard Spyder wheels have an ET of 22 and that coupled with 185 tyres does put them quite a long way outboard.
Does anyone know if the rear track on the Zetec chassis with the RSC suspension is wider than the front? It seems to be on my car. On a standard chassis they are the same. Or at least mine are.
The ET47 steel wheels snag on the rear springs by about 9mm (allowing for a small clearance) so do not go for those unless you use spacers to adjust.
All the best
