Weight of Spyder Elan

I know there aren't many out there, but does anyone have weight figures for a full spyder chassis converted S4 Elan, complete with side impact bars and roll bar? Not +2.

I don't have precise numbers but I have seen the spyder chassis quoted as 15 lbs more and 50% stiffer than the original lotus style chassis. I would guess the roll bar and side sill bars would be around another 20 lbs to 30 lbs add on

I just removed the roll bar and side sills from my car. The roll bar with rear braces weighed 28 lbs and the side and foot well bars weighed 18 lbs. Both are approx. I think the chassis adds approx. 10-15 additional pounds.

thanks guys, this is helpful, I'll get it on a weighbridge when it's finished, but looking like 50+ lbs over standard then.....good job it's got a lot more power !!
