Hi I have replied to a couple of PMs received on my recent post but they seem to be in my outbox and I dont know if they have sent?

Colin, they will stay in your outbox until the recipient opens them.

I have received a message from member coltongreer21 this morning in response to a wanted ad I placed. Gave me an email address to reply to. I suspect a scammer. Be careful out there.

will you be able to infer some sort of graded trust level from the existing forum plateform into the Discourse one, that mays be of use when dealing/filtering the wanted section, or will it start from scratch ?

thank you, i had watched the longer video (which sparked my question), and watched the other one as well - so the answer is no (the "trust level" won't be inferred from previous activity, I gather from ~ "Leslie will quickly move on after some forum's use") - so scanning previous activity (as suggested also in the video) will remain the recommended validation method, at least for a while.
