1970 Elan +2S stalled restoration

Run out of steam on my 1970 Elan +2S restoration.
Twin Cam rebuilt with Weber head and authentic Weber carbs by Quicksilver Racing, Frederick MD at a cost of over $12K
New Spyder chassis over 2K
New brake system including rebuilt twin brake boosters, master cylinder, etc.
Refurbished drive line with new clutch, flywheel and master cylinder.
Body on body cart stripped back to gelcoat/fiberglass
Power coated wheels and 5 new tires.
New dash
Many other new parts.
Car is complete.

I am sorry to hear that you appear to have had enough of your project. It sounds like you have done a lot of good work so far. They can be a bit daunting to put back together, thats for sure. Are you sure you will not feel differently in a months time?
The engine sounds very special, perhaps you could sell it separately?

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.
