Lovely Elan Sprint Drophead ( + Car Barn + Home ) !

I have been deliberating this for some time now ... but now approaching my 60th Birthday , I`ve "finally" decided to "down-size" my life & Lotus Collection !
So , my lovely Lagoon Blue Metallic Elan Sprint Drophead should hopefully be available in about a month`s time ... it is currently part way through a "Super-Service" , having been in dry storage for most of the last 10 years ... it`s a condition B+ Car with fabulous history ( I bought it off the first owner 12 years ago ) , has the Original Bill of Sale , Lotus Certificate of Provenance & has only done a genuine 54k miles from new - more details to follow !
Also available shortly is my wonderful 30ft x 40ft ( & 30ft high ! ) Lotus Car Barn ( a la "The Repair Shop" on TV ) , which also happens to have a very nice 3 Bed Single Storey Barn Conversion with it ... so come on you "Southern Softies" ... cash in your millions (our property prices are peanuts compared to yours
) ... I`m only 10 minutes from the Kings Cross Main Line in the Heart of England (surrounded by lots of Club Lotus Meetings ) ... you can just put your feet up & retire ... & enjoy your hobbies & your life 
!!

Sad to hear this Paul, I'd give a kidney just for the barn !
It's a great, great garage / store, and my dream of somewhere to keep more cars than I have.
The house is great too.
I can vouch for all of Paul's description, and if I had the dosh, I'd be moving tnere !
I'm sure you'll find somewhere smaller, but just as nice.

Hi Both Steves ,
Here is a picture of one end of my "Lotus Barn" , showing my cherished Esprit V8 (which I`m currently in discussion with the guys at Lotus for "potentially" going in their museum - it`s only done 4,500 miles from new ) !

I was only in my 40`s when I moved here ... & before I know it , I`m nearly 60 !o!
Btw., Tim ... don`t worry , that`s not my walking stick ( & I`m not 82
) ... that`s my Dad keeping guard over the "Purple Princess" as we went in to the first lockdown ... a very poignant time in our history ! Mind you , I quite enjoyed the lockdowns living in "Hobby Heaven" & the village had everything I needed ... but I still didn`t sort out all my junk !Incidentally , I`ve just had a Professional Valuation for both Barns ( The Lotus Barn + 3 Bed Detached Residential Barn which also has a Garage ) , as they come as a pair on the same plot of £650K - £700K ( the price of a single garage in some parts of London ! ) ... & there is always a deal to be done for the right person

I believe it to be near Retford, Notts would this be the first property sale on elannet?
That barn is ripe for a mezzanine floor but I guess it wouldn’t be allowed and is huge enough anyway.

I`m in "North Leverton with Habblesthorpe" ( 5 min`s East of Retford ) ... an old Farming Village with a working Windmill at it`s entrance ... it has everything from a Doctors , to a School , to a Garage ( with MOT`s ) , to a Pub & a Post Office c/w a brilliant Shop !
I do have an S4 Drophead Elan , along with the Drophead Sprint & S3 Racer ... & I ideally want to get down to just 1 Elan ... all my cars are generally in excellent order !
