I am putting up my Elans for sale, I hope people don't mind the fact that 1 is an M100 but somebody might know someone who wants one genuine reason for sale.
So they are,
1970 Elan DHC S4SE 28000 miles Lagoon Blue Minilite wheels lots of work carried out.
1994 Elan M100 14500 miles Norfolk Mustard Yellow standard car.
2012 built Elan race car Honda Fireblade engine space frame chassis Team Dynamics wheels Avon slicks plus spares.
Cars are not getting the use they deserve and I am not getting any younger.
Please PM here if you have a genuine enquiry, I will sort out more details and photo's as requested, please no time wasters.

Hi Doug, time waster here, is there a build log of the Honda powered Elan?
That sounds like a really cool, unusual project! I'll bet it goes like hell.

Here is a picture of the bike engined Elan. This was taken a couple of years ago. ?15000. This will include a trailer and other spares, quite a lot.

You just caught me at my computer doing just that. Hope the original post was ok with you ?
Regards,
Doug.
Skippopotomus send me an email address by pm here and I will send you a link, ok ?
Perfectly fine. I would also like to understand how you completed the drivetrain with the FireBlade. I have always thought the Hayabusa engine swaps are interesting. The Hayabusa into a MX-5: https://motoiq.com/project-miatabusa-pa ... -thinking/

Hi Jeff,
The drive train on my car is that the bike rear drive sprocket was removed, engine turned through 90 deg so the now drive flange points rearward. The engine is is central in the car so the flange is to the RHS (drivers side in GB) it has a dog leg drive shaft to a Sierra 3.6 diff with a Quaife ATB fitted.
Does that make sense ?
The rear suspension is double wishbone with pushrod operated dampers mounted above the diff.
I'll post up a couple more photos if you are interested.
Regards,
Doug.

I?m interested but suspect you are on the right side of the pond rather than the left.
Left side of the pond and left side of this country; unless I'm mistaken.
Cheers,
Pete.

Last time I was there, Darfield was in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Which I'd describe as the right side of the country on the right side of the pond.
There does seem to be a Darfield West coast of Canada which would be the left of the left, but I suspect that the wrong one.

I'm in America, so too far away to buy your car. But please tell us what that bike-powered Elan is like to drive. Maybe even post a youtube video if you can. I'm intrigued.

Just helping Dougie out , organise his Race Car & Trailer Package for viewing ... before advertising on the open market ....
I`m not a track expert ... but this looks an awful lot of fun for the buck ... is very well built ... & ready to hook up & go racing !
There is also an option for paperwork , to get it road registered ... should you wish to do so ...
It`s now available to view in my storage barn ( near Retford , Notts ) ... get in touch if you want to know more : )
