Have decided to sale my 1974 Lotus Elan + 2 S130/5 coupe Red
Car is tax free & will be mot exempt in 2018
Car is taxed & mot at the moment . Engine was completely rebuilt this year at the same time of rebuild new brake calipers & pads fitted all round . Various other new parts fitted ie hightorque starter/alternator/ brake servo/ feulpump/ Also complete refurbished interior seats/centre consul/ carpets .
Reason for sale at 73yrs am finding it difficult to get in or out of car . I have my eye on a Lotus Carlton that is coming up for sale and think that is a more suited saloon for a man of my age
If any interest I can be contacted on here
Regards
Bill Mutch

Good for you Bill! If you have to get rid of your Plus 2 for a car that is easier to get in and out of a Carleton is a pretty sweet choice!

+2's seem remarkably popular at the moment!

As they should be
It was a landmark model for the brand, it was essentially the car that took Lotus from a basic raw basic sports car manufacturer into the luxury market. I've never understood why they have been so over shadowed by the Elan & Europa in the past, it's a much nicer car than either & was much more expensive when new.
