The Devils I have, one per shoulder are going on at me again, telling me to "sell", "keep", "sell"...
So, in case anyone is interested, here we go with the salient points and brief description. If there is any interest I can elaborate massivley.
i) I am the second owner of this 1973 DHC Sprint. Somewhere in the order of 45,000 miles from new.
ii) Bodywork/Chassis.Chassis is a genuine galvanised LR unit with no corrosion or cracks. The bodywork is simply stunning, no cracks or crazing and the door fit properly. Has recently had a very expensive detailing (NO swirls or marks) and nanolex coating applied.
iii) Interior is original and in generally excellent condition. New original type door seals fitted (very hard to find). Carpets have some wear which is to be expected after 43 years and 10 months but are generally excellent. Footwell mats have been replaced at some point but are also excellent. Dash is original with some cracks to the lacquer. Crash pad is original and in excellent condition. All gauges, switches, wipers and fans work.
iv) Wheels and tyres. Fitted with Michelin XAS and minilites, orginal wheels and chrome embelishers are available.
v) Front Suspension. All TTR shcks and springs, new trunnions, uprights, bearings and bushes.
vi)Rear Suspension. All TTR shcks and springs. New TTR uprights, aluminium bearing carriers, new bearings and bushes. Fitted with Kelvedon adjustable A arms. Original uprights and A arms available.
vii) Final Drive. Differential overhauled via Sue Miller circa 3000K miles ago. Sue Miller CV drives shafts fitted. TTR uprated inner and outer diff/hub shafts fitted. Original rotaflex drive shafts available.
viii) Gearbox. Overhauled by TTR circa 3000K miles ago. New Clutch fitted at same time along with new master and slave cylinders.
ix) Engine. Rebuilt by QED circa 3000K miles ago. Laterly fitted with Q420 cams and head gas flowed (circa 150 bhp with excellent torque curve), work done by paul Exon. Original Sprint cams available.
x) Cooling system. Fitted with Burton Power cassette water pump module, comes with built up spare cassette unit. Cool Experts S3 type large aluminium radiater with Pacet cooling fan. Original radiator and fan available.
xi) Brakes. All calipers overhauled by Classicbrake Ltd. Brake pads and grooved discs by Green stuff. New master cylinder.
xii) Exhaust. Paul Matty "big bore" manifold and TTR big bore rear box. Original box (stainless steel) available.
xiii) Electrics. Dynalite alternator (looks like the generator) fitted. New Odessey battery.
xiv) Weather Protection. Mint condition, original, full length tonneau cover. New hood.
xv) Tools. Original jack. Original tool kit and bag.
And some photos....
cheers
Mark

I used to see this car in it's previous ownership, I've seen it in yours; it really is one of the best.

I'll bet there are a few people asking that, I have seen this car at Oulton Park for the Gold cup this summer, it is a lovely car. The pictures really don't do it justice, it is not going to be cheap that is for certain
