Hi Guys,
After much deliberation etc I have come to the conclusion that it is time to now part with my lovely Sprint DHC..
Its well known on this forum and needs no intoductions.
Anyone interested please pm me for its full details etc..
Its a 5 speed car. And without doubt one of the best there is out there....
My health issues and space are the main reasons for its sale and it will only be sold to the right person. Being on this forum is the best start.

I'm sure it's not a decision taken lightly or with much pleasure but if you feel the time to pass the stewardship of the car on who's to argue. Please stay on the forum and keep us in the loop.
Best wishes to you and yours

Salut Alex
That must have been a difficult decision. If it was just a question of space it might have been more economical to part with the missus Easier, too when it comes to choosing birthday and Christmas presents.
Bonne continuation.

Hi vernon .. yes very difficult and I hope I dont back out at last minute. I have done this already but I think the time is right now for someone to get the full use of it and enjoy it more than I am right now. It is currently in my son's vast garage under its cover awaiting it's next run out..
I had it at the Scottish airshow a couple of weekends ago and it was mobbed, literally with enthusiastic question askers... I was somewhat hoarse at the end of a great days day's chatting...
It's not over yet though. I am looking for the right person to look after it now. And I will be very diligent here.
Cheers guys and I hope you are all well..
my cancer situ seems under control and I am now signed off to the care of my specialist nurse who gives me my hormone jabs every three months. So, so far so good.

Hello Guys,
My car sold almost instantly and I would like now to thank everyone who showed interest. It is going to live in Orkney and the new owner is a great enthusiast.
I still have the car's trailer available for sale if anyone would like to buy it? It is around eighteen months old and has done no more than about 1500K mls.
Custom built to transport the Sprint it will also easily handle a + 2. (which I am looking for by the way)
Anybody need an as new trailer? Single axle with brakes and a max load of around 1300 Kgs. Including it's spare wheel. In mint condition It sits (covered) in my drive during the winter months.
Cost new was just under ?2,000 (It's a very good quality item), I would like around ?1,250 (OVNO) for it.
It comes complete with a set of wheel ratchet straps for firmy holding the car in place. Nose weight is approx 60 Kgs with an Elan on board.
PM me if you need any info' / pic's etc..
Health update.. All good still..... 3 (3 monthly) Injections to go and treatment is finished. Feel really tired and uncomfortable at times but soldiering along as planned.
Thanks to all who enquired..
Best wishes and Good health to all.

Hi Alex,
Sorry to see your car now gone, but obviously to a good home. Not too much driving to be done on Orkney! Can I ask where you advertised it? I'm in two minds as to whether to keep my Sprint FHC or sell it next spring and wonder which is the best place to advertise.
Your treatment has obviously been long and tiresome, but hopefully you are coming to the end now. We all wish you a happy and healthy future. Life is for living.
Very best wishes,
Mike

Wow! That Plus 2 looks terrific. It seems weird to me that the Plus 2 is so much cheaper than the two seater. Love the colour scheme.
