PostPost by: 3lotus » Thu Mar 26, 2015 3:44 pm

Hello All,
So it's time to sell my Elan. I've had the car stored for 15 years. Made it run and drive 4 years ago and then tore it apart.
It now has a rebuilt rolling chassis. New Chassis, SVO mods, Adj. suspension front and rear, CV axles, new brakes, wheel bearings, bushings, ...everything on the chassis.
Body completely bare and stripped.
Engine , head off, ready for rebuild
Car is complete other than it never had it's original steering wheel.
I'm In Washington State, near Seattle. $20k obo
Will try to get pictures up today.

Nice project. I wish it wasn't almost a 5,000 mile round trip with a trailer. Ugh!

Hello All,
This car is back for sale. I was ambivalent about selling it before but have since bought another Elan, so it has to go for sure this time.
A few things have changed since I was moving forward ( and reverse ) with the restoration.
The body is ready for primer now and the color you choose. It's been at the body shop getting ready. The short block will be assembled ( Autosport, Seattle ), but the rest of the motor still needs doing. The chrome is now done.
I have removed the front and rear shocks/springs and replaced them with the tired units from my new Elan. I also removed the CV axles but am willing to deal on those as I think I prefer the rotoflexes and may go back that way.
I'd like $18,000
