1969 Lotus Elan +2, only 42kmiles and 3 owners from new
South Wales all its life, tested till Nov 14. 33 yrs with first owner then 11 with second then I managed to secure it last year. Although its tested and roadworthy and drives really well, it does need some tinkering due to its relative lack of use although I am currently using it daily, now the rain has gone. Bodily, deep shiny black paintwork, looking great against the excellent chrome. However, there are two areas of slight crazing, one on the corner of the bonnet area and one on the door. Also the roof and boot could do with a rub down as on very close inspection you can see some of the fibreglass grain (although I am probably being really picky). Mechanically, the car drives great, brakes, steering, suspension etc although the car is currently running a 1600 Ford block, with the twin cam accessories. The original twincam engine comes with the car but needs 'some crank bearing work' before being installed. Nice interior, replacement galv chassis and donuts done... Best come and have a look, is ?8990 fair?, always open to sensible offers though.
