Was just wondering if your friend had made any progress in his search for a fully restored Elan Sprint? It’s been a few weeks since you posted your first message and I’m sure readers here would be interested in any feedback on the process. Good luck in the search.

Still hasn’t found anything. He’s not in a rush and willing to wait for the right one.

Interesting. Are we to assume that your friend has been less than impressed with those Sprints currently for sale with several leading dealers ( or that he thinks they’re over-priced in the current market)? Does he has a preference for a particular colour combination? I always used to like the GLTL red over white colour scheme, but of late I think I prefer those Sprints in yellow over white or, even more so, Lagoon blue over white. In truth they all look gorgeous!
