Elan +2S 130/5 for sale UK

Advertising on behalf of a friend. Elan +2S 130/5 Restored approximately thirty years ago but has only done a handful of miles (garaged) since. The car is complete but could do with a little detailing to get it to tip top condition.

I'm pretty sure the engine underwent a professional rebuild at the time of restoration. I'll have to check whether the chassis was replaced as well. Needless to say all of the brakes, suspension and drivetrain would have been fully reconditioned/serviced at the same time. Knowing my friend he'll have receipts for every that was done or replaced.

The paintwork (metallic aubergine) is overall very nice although there is a small scratch on the drivers side front wing and I've been told slight micro blistering on one edge of the boot lid.

Interior wise, from memory, it's all there and fitted but could do with some detailing to get it looking like new.

Hopefully in the next week or so I'll have a chance to see the car and check the finer detail.

It'll make a really nice easy project for someone ready for enthusiastic miles in the spring!
