Originally converted by Spyder 20 plus years ago, this machine has been reliable and solid.
Owned by me for the last 10 or so years, it has needed some attention over the years.
It had a full back tingle respray 4 years ago (deep Mercedes blue) at a cost of 15k but some webbing has reappeared. Also door has fallen a little and boot hinge needs attention. At the same time, they put in a specialist radiator and did other work.
Trouble is, since then, I seemed to have been unlucky with all who have worked on it. One has marked the bonnet adding a mod to cool the engine bay, one has lowered the exhaust (without even telling me why) and then proceeded to repair some areas of the interior badly and break my horn!
I have spent thousands on this car but now wish to move it in to someone who is mechanically minded and can make her special again.
Lots of receipts and invoices - 6 months MOT remaining.
