1972 Lotus Elan +2 S130

This +2 can best be described as a survivor. The paint is presentable, but from around 1990. The interior is the original black vinyl in very nice condition. The mechanical side is superb.
I have a Certificate of Provenance that shows this car was manufactured in April 1972 and shipped to Lotus East in Millerton, New York. The original color was Silver over Yellow. The Lotus historian told me that this car is one of only about fifty S130s supplied to North America with the high compression engine (10.3). The engine is the original engine to the car— numbers matching.
The engine and transmission/drivetrain are just the sweetest ever. The engine was rebuilt by a previous owner. It has great oil pressure, runs cool and delivers instant power. It is really the smoothest and most powerful British 4 cylinder car I have driven.
There was a new clutch installed less than 1000 miles ago— works perfectly. In the last 500 miles I have installed a new brake master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. It has Tony Thompson street springs and shocks. The shocks are adjustable front and rear and the front springs are adjustable for ride height. There are recent Ferodo brake pads and Pirelli CN36 tires.
This is a car with an honest presentation. It has cracks in the paint and some flaws in the interior, but it is not a tarted up car with unknown problems.
I will answer any questions absolutely honestly.
PRICE REDUCTION 6/1/23– $31,000.00
