Lotus Elan + 2 in very good condition. I have driven this wonderful car for over 13.5 years (since 2008). Always garaged. No issues. Good engine, transmission, chassis and suspension. Clean title. $27500

It is a 1969 but it was titled as a 1970. Old restoration (1999-2001, see photos). Paint job is old but nice and it shows very well (smooth and shiny with some imperfections here and there). Dash and interior are superb (headliner has some minor some blemishes). Engine running strong and cool (I can provide you with a video). No problems with brakes or suspension.

The car starts/runs and stops as it should. Drives very well. No weird vibrations and no overheating. It has a Davies Craig electric water pump. All the electricals work (except the radio). Headlights and lifts work fine (lift on the right being a fraction of a second lazy), as well as blinkers, tailights, brake-lights, and all the gauges. Even the license plate works. It has an alternator conversion (by RD enterprises).

Windshield washer-pump does not work. Original radio is not connected (I am not sure if it works--never tried to connect it).

This car has many upgrades to list (race radiator, electric water pump and comptroller, CV joint conversion, electric fuel pump, restored and power-coated wheels, etc). As I get older, I am selling my classic cars . . . I welcome serious inquiries. I prefer buyers within driving distance so you can come and see the car by yourself. I will help with shipping, but this would be the responsibility of the buyer.

If you are looking at this car you know about the brand and model. It is not a trailer queen but a very nice and sorted driver that turns heads everywhere: it always get a first or second in class in the local shows. I will provide photos of the trophy collection but I plan to keep them).

A bunch of mixed feelings. I sold my beloved +2 after almost 14 years of pure enjoyment! So many memories with my three kids .... so many drives! Today I vacuumed it and cleaned it for the last time. Tomorrow, the new owner arranged for a transport company to pick it up! Thank you very much for the support, information, and help all these years! I will continue to stop in this wonderful forum once in a while and who knows.... I maybe getting into another Lotus in the near future! .... Best Carlos A.!
