May I politely ask .
If you are valuing the project at 40K with the V5 , what are you valuing the V5 at ?

I would say the going rate for a 'title' with a V5 for a race car would be £5.5- 8 k.

Is this a right hand drive setup or doesn't it make any difference at this point in the build? Could it be built as a left hand drive?

Currently it makes no difference
The pedal box and steering rack would be wrong, but happy to keep those kits back if that helps

I do fancy for a roadlegal Elan GTS which I can use as a tracktool on LoT Trackdays and from time to time on historic races in Germany. But need to sell my roadlegal Elise tracktool first...

With this car you can drive below 2:40min at Spa. According to the AIM datalogs a 2:38 is possible.
And that was with the old car weight of 865kg plus driver and worn tyres.
Now 845kg and you could lose more weight if you remove the passenger seat and passenger footwell carpet.
