1965 Lotus Elan S2 Drop Head
This car is not a #1 but a solid #2. It has about 1,200 miles since being restored about a year ago by Bob Herzog in Illinois. (His photo archive is on the web at: http://www.lotuscorps.org/pictures/inde ... ategory/15 )
It is an early S2 with triple tail lights and Weber carburetors.
It runs very well and over the 1,200 miles has been sorted and de-bugged from any issues.
Car is located in Cranford, New Jersey. (About 20 miles southeast of New York City).
Attached is an outline of what was done to the car. Most, but not all, of the receipts are with the car. There is also a photo archive.
