I talked to Perry. He is selling on the previous owner's Illinois title. The car is in California and not in his name. Also the wiring has been done with a quick wire kit not a Lotus harness.

Perry Wright (the seller) here. Yes, The wiring harness is from Painless Performance in Ft. Worth, Texas. They have 25 years in the business of making replacement, custom & modified harnesses. It's a nice, well-working & clean install. But not for those who favor originality. The car also has a smaller, modern alternator & improved switches as well as other mods for improved usability.
Yes, I'm selling the car with a clean Illinois title from the previous owner. The California fees, taxes, stickers, license plates etc. are nearly $2,000, most of which would be wasted & useless to an out-of-state buyer.
However, If the buyer is in Ca, I will help financially with fees/registration costs. I'm just not eager to throw away money when it's not of benefit to a buyer.
I'm happy to respond to requests for more info, photos, & video of the car. Thank you.
