SOLD "thank you"
Just acquired this project car and offering first on this forum before it goes to Ebay later. Clear title, build date 12-70, but titled a '72. 93K miles, Weber head and carbs, last on road 2000, have spare front bumper and 2nd twin cam engine (apart) with stromberg head & carbs. Many extra parts like rear struts, knock-off hubs, rear diff, brake discs, down pipes, steering rack, etc. Needs complete restoration. Interior rough, exterior rough, but very complete car. The engine in the car is an earlier version with the rope packing main seal and Weber head. It was completely overhauled less than 20,000 miles ago. The original engine will go with the car. The car was the last Lotus sold by Checkered Flag Motor Sports Center as a Lotus dealer. The company president used it as his demo. Only 4 owner history. Includes original shop manual.
Detailed pictures on my "hobby" website http://www.TaylorMadeClassicCars.com/vaelanplus2.html
PM or email if interested. I can provide specific details or pictures if requested.
thanks
