Elan Plus 2 130S - Anyone looking for a project?

Hi all,
I know I'm going to get a few comments regarding my manhood but the missus has decided she wants a VDub Camper for some family breaks away and a project Elan (albeit a Plus 2) doesn't quite fit the bill. I'm partial to a Type 2, so who am I to argue.
Anyway, getting rid of the project will release some funds to put towards a bus so I'm putting out some feelers to see if there is any interest.
Briefly, it is a Lagoon Blue/Silver 130S with the 4 speed box. It has a Spyder chassis which is in excellent condition. The engine is a rebuilt 711M block and was done only a few miles ago (but about 10 years ago), the bad bit is that there is no cylinder head. Carbs are present.
Interior is Oatmeal and is pretty much all stripped out and stored safely.
One major bonus is that I have stripped the majority of the paint so that the condition of the GRP can be seen. To my untrained eye it doesn't look half bad!
The body is also separated from the chassis and therefore the condition of the chassis can be clearly seen.
I have a lot of history going back to the 1990s including details of the engine build and chassis change.
I also have a set of 13 inch Lotus alloy, workshop manuals and all the books you could need.
I can take loads of photos and post them here.
The car is in my garage at my home in Warwick, UK.
Thanks for reading,
Dario

I'd love to see some photos. Feel free to email them directly to [email protected]
How about the state of the interior, wiring, and the other bits that move/spin/glow? Is everything there and where it should be, or are we talking a total restoration?
What happened to the head?
Any idea on the price you are hoping for?
Cheers,
Aaron in U.S.A.

I'll get some photos up over the weekend. Price wise, very difficult, projects have sold on ebay for up to ?9000. I realise that my car is missing the all important twin cam head, however on the positive side is the excellent chassis and the fact that the paint is virtually stripped.
Advice on value would be appreciated.
