The car is currently disassembled. This is a project car that I just don?t have the space or desire to finish. I?ve have owned this car for 34 years. It?s been 25 years since it?s been on the road. It would be a great project for someone that loves Lotus cars. It?s a great starting point as a ground up restoration project as many parts are new, or near new. I bought a new frame in 1975 due to rust. The frame is in great shape and is currently in zinc chromate primer.
There are many brand new parts that have never been mounted.
I may consider parting out if I can sell a significant portion eary on.
1966 Elan S/E
Unit No. 5765
Chassis No. 26/5765
Engine No. LP/5883
Original Color: Red
Knock-on wheels
Weber carbs

Well guys, the car is sold and will be off to a good home shortly to get the complete restoration that it deserves.
Thank you to all who inquired about the car. I'm a little sad to see it go after all these years (34 or so). It kind of breaks my heart but I know it's better than letting it sit while I keep thinking some day I'll get around to finishing it.
