Modsports Elan front rear supspensions

Dear All,
does anyone have knowledge of how the wider front and rear track was usually arranged on the 1970s modsports elans/26rs ie wheel spacers!!, longer front/rear wishbones, wider chassis pick ups, longer rear driveshafts and if the rear uprights were redesigned to accommodate the different angle at the rear wheels etc etc,

All of the above, some had space frames with pickups off period open wheelers typically used their uprights etc. There’s a good write up of the vita racing modsports elan if my memory is right.

It depends on what you want to do but the simple way to get a signficant track increase would be to use Plus 2 suspension and running gear
