Engine Number Information Required

Hi,

I am trying to piece together the history of my car, acquired earlier this year. I have a great history file and loads of receipts and previous owner information.

The only thing I don't have any knowledge of is the engine. It is not the original engine but was installed some years ago.

The engine number appears to be NJ36468

Any thoughts if this a) correct and b) where did it come from
