What anti freeze to use

Have been looking through the forum and still confused what make of anti freeze to use and how much.
Lot of talk about using ionised water.

Hi,
Mono-ethylene glycol based antifreeze, the blue stuff. 50/50 with de-ionised water.

As above, I always use de-ionised water, 50/50 with Bluecol anti-freeze.
I used it for years in my Elan, and also my Alfa Twincams.

I am in the states but I use Peak Global Lifetime in all my Lotus cars.
Available over here at most Walgreens and on Amazon last i checked.

If you have copper and solder in your coolant system then I would stick to the Green non OAT antifreeze. If you have replaced the radiater and heater with aluminum cores then you could use OAT if you wanted to. Whatever you use make sure you change it regulalrly.
