Goodwood Revival anyone?

Hi all,
My plan was to restore my Elan Sprint so I could take it to The Goodwood Revival next week. Unfortunately we are not going to make the deadline but we don't want to rush now and continu to focus on the details.
We now plan to our Jaguar XJC V12 so if anyone is going and seeing a Dutch registered white Jag with Vinyl roof it is probably us.
Would be nice to see some Elans.
Cheers,
Martijn

Martijn,
I hope you enjoy the Revival. Its got a bit busy for me, I prefer the Members meeting - though to be fair that is also getting to be very busy.
The car looks great. Don't forget to paint the bottom of the sills black.
Andy.

Hi Martijn
Can I just say that you have chosen absolutely the correct colour scheme for your Sprint, I may be biased of course!

Hi,
Indeed. Lets see what he brings - either the Bentley or the E-type.

Haha. Maybe a little bit biased ...
Well I was a bit lucky: my uncle had it from new and I knew it was repainted from factory. For a long time I didnt know what the original color was. When I knew that I could buy it, I heard it was originally Orange. That was my favorite color. I also didnt know it was an original Sprint until I started standing the car and the white underside appeared as gold in the bumpers. That was a second great suprise.

Hi Andy,
Thanks. Do you mean along the sides of the car at the bottom? If so, I'll fix that.

Martijn,
I am always willing to be proved wrong, but as far as I am aware, all Elans left the factory with the bottom vertical section of the sill painted satin black. For the cost of a roll of masking tape and a rattle can of satin black, it makes a big difference to the appearance.
Andy.
Edit: A picture of Ron's Elan - which I wish I had bought. Check out the sills.
