Around The Clock . . .

Just as I was arriving home yesterday after the Goodwood trackday, this happened!
57 years is far too long to do 100,000 miles: must do better
My 12 year old daughter captured it on video for posterity:

Have you gone round the clock? How many times? Where were you when it happened?

Mine's not been around yet, still at a mere 83K miles at 54 years of age- but then it did spend at least twenty years with the engine removed! The first owner drove it nearly daily for a decade before that. Who knows what its story might have been had it entered its second decade under different circumstances? For all I know, those two decades of dereliction might have saved it?

Last time I spoke with Brian Buckland his S3 was coming up for 920,000 miles. He was hoping to make 1,000,000 !!
