New Elan Chassis

Collected my new Elan chassis from Classic Team Lotus last week. It`s the very first one they have supplied, the finish, welding and workmanship appears first class. I ordered it unpainted as I do not like powder coat for this type of component, I will etch primer and 2k top coat. The service from the parts department was excellent, the whole CTL team showed a great interest and Clive C was there which ensured a perfect collection.

As they have taken over Paul Matty's parts department I imagine that it's been supplied by Gartrac. I'd be happily corrected if there's a new supplier on the scene (chapeau to Spyder)

Most likely a Gartrac product sourced through Lotparts (Miles Wilkins)

Spyder make “Lotus style” folded metal chassis with a few modifications, such as closing off the turrets, adding a tow loop and making the Crossmember under the sump removable. Normally supplied 2k painted with 8 year corrosion warranty.
