Mohair Hood

PostPost by: kenziet » Fri Oct 06, 2023 8:11 pm

Hi, I may ask you a stupid question but need your advice. I bought Mohair Hood for my 69 S4 a couple of months ago from Kelvedon Lotus, and I found it looks totally different from Mohair Hood Stowage recently purchased from another shop. Can anyone tell if this is made from mohair? I’ve texted Kelvedon Lotus but no response so far.

Mohair feels like a heavy fabric material. It is difficult to be 100% certain from your picture, but it does not look like mohair. I will post a picture of mohair later.

Thanks both, your comments helped me a lot to identify this is not mohair.

Not mohair.
Mohair looks akin to a shaved black cat.
Why anyone would deliberately put something that looks like that on top of their car is completely beyond me.

Ralph.

Lol Ralph! Are you a vet? I could see why shaving a cat would create negative associations more easily than I can imagine a shaved cat!

I guess, a cat with a close shave, would have used up one of its nine lives.
