My very frist post here.
I would like to know more about this chassis number 26/0313, It would have been sold here in Europe in 1963/1964 by the Belgian importer Jean Wauters.
Is this car still alive?

Welcome Valerio,
Good Elva choices. I raced my Eleven S2 against lots of Mk5s that used to race here, but that class has fallen out of favor, and now I race a Lotus 20/22 and some of the Elva 200s are quite quick. I assume your Mk 5 is Climax powered.

Hi guys, thank you so much for this warm welcome!
Roger, yes, the MK5's engine is an 1100cc Climax.
Elvas are good and reliable race cars, very solid. Mine still have the original chassis.
Back to the topic. Folks! Let's keep an eye open for this chassis. This Elan was entered at Tour de France in 1964!
Cheers
