Hello all. I wish to find out information on my current s2, would I be safe to post the chassis number or shall I not risk it?

I think You'll be fine posting it here; many of us often do and some even have it in their sig.

Whilst that might elicit some responses I suspect the registration number might produce more...hopefully.

The number plate is EFU 158C which I believe to be the original.

Thank you Tim for sending me the PM, unfortunately, I have difficulty replying to my PMs so here is your thanks from me :D .
Amazing how the two cars after mine are still around. Are they still in the UK?

How interesting. What colour are they, mine was medici blue when new and that is the colour it going to be, with original unvented 26R wheels and an original spec 26R interior. We are going to make it a narrow bodied 26R Apendix K car which will be under weight, we are then going to use the interior as ballast so it will be a good looking racing car, win win.

Here are a few more to tickle your fancy.
The car is as original as possible, we have kept the original engine and most body parts, the shell was in a and state and we decided to replace it for safety reasons, other than that, it's the same car it was 50 years ago.

Sounds like a great project, I was working on a similar specification to race in Historic/Group Sb class here in Australia. I've since sold it having purchase S2 26R.

I'm interested in where you managed to purchase the narrow solid centre 26R S1 wheels from?

Hello, that is a lovely looking car, you are very lucky to own a genuine example.
The solid 26R wheels came with the car. The people I bought it off had no use for it so I offered them ?1 000 for all 4 and they said yes!

My 45/26R came w/ a set (5) of the solid center 26R wheels fitted. Just after buying the car, I bought another set of solid center wheels, then a friend who had traded for some of the spares that should have been w/ my car, gave me the set of 6" wide vented wheels w/ race tires mounted. confirming its dual usage. With 9 total wheels, I sold off the 2nd set of solid wheels. They went to a friend in northern Ohio, but I doubt he still has them.

I'm hoping my coupe is finished this winter so I can restore it next year.
