Hand brake lever fitting

After finding the clamp cracked , I couldn?t find any suppliers who either had one or new what I was talking about so had to set about making a new one , a few hours later.It even fits ! Next job to come up with a idea to take up to much free play in cable

Shaun,

I don't know why the cable is too long, but I think I remember other owners having the same difficulty. I bought mine from cable-tec Sutton in Ashfield. As they are a cable manufacturer, you will need to specify what size you need and the end fittings.

Sue Miller sells a cable which is deliberately made 2" shorter than spec. I recently bought one which works just fine but another half inch shorter might have been even better.
