Hello all,
so there is a paper on this website, and I cannot for the life of me find who write it!
My company has developed a mechanism that reciprocates pistons in a perfect sinusoidal motion, and we would love to connect with whoever wrote this paper:
download/file.php?id=6432
Hope you guys can help!

What a coincidence... I was just working on something very similar to this in my calculus class for our related rates unit.

Thank you for your reply David. If I may beg a little of your time, in your opinion, what are the main advantages and disadvantages to purely sinusoidal piston motion in a combustion scenario?
If you are curious as to the mechanism we have developed and patented, our website has a nice description of how it works.

Thanks a bunch. I sent you a PM on this site but no reply, so maybe the forum will be more visible!
