As an aside I know what went into the JD classics Sprint.... A LOT!
If you want a good Sprint your looking circa ?50k imho, but that?s just my 2p worth..

Agreed, provided it has the invoices from the right people and history to back it up. It will interesting to see how much the under noted Sprint is finally advertised for, once the dealer has finished evaluating it, which I assume means comparing it to other available cars currently for sale.

Mick had two Sprints.
Susan still runs the red over white DHC. She sold the blue FHC several years ago and it is now for sale again.

Don't know about respray but it looks like it needs a good t-cut....... Dam i wish i could get some of that original seal, the doors fit so well with it on.
I take it Mick put those wheels on? doesn't 231 MM have Wolfraces on too?

Do you mean the "double flap" type seal? I wonder if the effect could be emulated by taking a standard D type seal and cutting the D section so as to create a flap...

Sorry bit of a diversion of topic........ 2 seater door seal is a subject thats been done to death, you can do things like that but the u shape that holds it onto the car is smaller on the original seal (assuming you can find some that is designed for GRP) so there is always a compromise...... i just get a little jealous seeing proper fitting doors without any cutting and shutting (or the door being tight to shut) reminds me of mine before i had to replace the original seal.

Yes, Mick always fitted Wolfrace wheels to his Elans.
