To replace the faded stripes....

Bought the replacements from Sue Miller perhaps 5 years ago.....

Old ones came off no bother after being on the car since time immemorial. Did cost me a new hair dryer though :)

When I did mine 25 years ago I carefully masked them off and put a clear lacquer, ( or maybe enamel, test it...), over them.
Still haven't faded.

After about 10 years mine are still looking pretty good although I have noticed a little gold coming off just under the fuel filler cap, so remember to wipe off and spilt fuel if it gets on the strips ...
