Deciphering VIN

I have a 72 S4 with VIN 450122K
Trying to figure out if it was SE, standard, or Sprint.
Seems unlikely it was a Sprint, but doing a web search it looks like it was late in the build years and don't see much on standard S4's listed.
Any input on configuration?
Thanks,
Briggs

Strange VIN for a 72. Where do you read that, please?

Your Elan is a Federal S4. It was invoiced on 25 Aug 71 and was one of the last batch of Federal S4s before the North American introduction of production Sprints. It was fitted with engine number G24236, indicating the Federal Stromberg SE variant.
Your correct VIN would be something like 7101010122K. 45 refers to the type, which is DHC.
