Bought this off of Amazon. I cant find a date on the brochure to verify the year of publication, but it's an interesting find.

Fabulous!
Looks pretty early - no talk of developments so seems it might be close to launch.
"...occasional seating for a child. Alternatively, this space will accommodate a carry-cot"! Different times, different times...
Thanks for posting.
Cheers

It is an early brochure - Elan 1600 tag on side, no glove box door, beige interior door panels. the brochure phone number is an earlier one than that on my brochure from mid 1963 and was changed again in later 1963 / early 64.
Possibly a first sales brochure.
My 1600 - 12/0538 - was ordered personally from the factory in Dec. 63
Looks like the rains have finally quit here in western Canada - time to drive again.
Cheers

Lotus did produce an S1 1500 brochure - its an eight paged, A4 sized brochure with 'Lotus Elan 1500' and an image of the steering wheel on the front cover and red highlights. It is also identical to the'Lotus Elan' brochure, with light green highlights. I'll scan in a copy and post it up later on tonight or tomorrow. The brochure shown uses some of the graphics from the first one....
