Emma Peel's Avengers Elan S3 - Colour?

Hi folks

Would anyone happen to know the exact colour used on SJH 499D? Being a pre-69 car the colour won't be on the chassis plate sadly, not that I have access to that anyway!

I think, but don't know for certain, that it was Jaguar powder blue.

I think people forget Lotus would paint an Elan any colour the customer wanted, I think they charged fifteen quid for the service. My first S3 was silver from new, it must have looked really odd.

If it was a Jaguar paint it would have been Opalescent Silver Blue -
ICI Nexa/PPG: 2640M
Glasso GIP: 24749M

Used by Jaguar between 1961 and 1968.
