Hello all,
I am trying to find a copy of the book 'The Rebuilding of a Lotus Elan' by Brian Buckland.
I am currently undertaking the total rebuild of a '66 S3 coupe and, from what I have read here, the book is the bible for Elan owners, unfortunately the prices asked are exhorbitant to say the least...
(I have tried Waterstones, where it's listed as ?50, however their website says that it is 'not available')
regards,
Mark.

Contact him directly and he will happily send you a copy or deliver it FOC if he is going to be in your area, I'm not sure whether I am allowed to put up his E-mail address so you can PM me for it, I've just searched back through my E-mails and found it.
He is, or at least was happy to deal direct as he does not lose a commission that way.

Not sure if you have managed to locate the book yet, but if not, I would certainly recommend that you do so. ?50 may seem a lot, but in the context of the whole rebuild, it will probably be the best ?50 you spend. My guess is that the knowledge imparted will save you your ?50 many times over, not to mention an awful lot of time and frustration. The rumours are all true, this really is an excellent resource - thanks Brian!
