Tinted glass on Elans

Does anyone know when & which model tinted glass was first offered as an option on ?lans? I would assume late S3 s (possibly?) and s4s & Sprints but would like to know for sure. Also, any idea how much it was at the time?

My Elan parts book shows tinted window screen with ".015 inch center" from 5811 to 7399 for S3. Then windscreen with ".030 inch Center, Sundym" for S3 SS, S4, and S4 federal "from 7400". This is the March 71 parts book number 36T325H. Gordon Sauer
