Happy ending to article titled "Lotus Photos You May Not Want To See"

Tonight I came across this article on a website called Colin chapman archive resource. See the link http://colinchapmanmuseum.org.uk/?page_id=1704

To my surprise it had two photos of my car on it, as well as the comments below.

Thanks to Andy Humphries for these rather sad photos of an Elan 2+2 he?s spotted whilst walking in the Emsworth/Westbourne area.

At about the same time as Mr Humphries had spotted the car, so had I, as I live a short distance away.

So I'm very happy to announce that two years later the car is back on the road and sailed though its MOT. Furthermore this week it had a respray and now resides a short distance away from Westbourne in Emsworth.

Attached are some photos from Sep 2013 when I bought the car as well as a some pictures taken yesterday in the paint shop.

I'll post another picture when I get the car back this week and I put the trim back onto the body.

Two years on and it's complete..
Here's the finished article.

Many thanks to Phil and the team at Lillywhites garage Emsworth for a superb respray.

I'm quite proud.
