We are probably months behind the curve here in Australia, but last night the GO channel aired the Car SOS programme featuring the Elan rebuild - well worth seeing if you haven't already (episode 4) - these guys a much more systematic and thorough in their rebuilds than many of the "bog and flog" merchants out there (no names no pack drill!)

I enjoyed watching the Episode.
I was sure the water pump would have failed after 7 years sitting around.
