Lotus stable mate

Greetings,
It has been ages since I last posted but I have been making progress on the restoration of my 1963 Ginetta G4. I know this is slightly off topic but not completely. I am trying to piece together bits for my engine build. The car runs an early 116e pre-crossflow from a Cortina 1500 GT. The original block will need to be bored to .60 over to eliminate taper. If I go that route I will need to find some .60 over pistons. Otherwise a better early block that can be bored to something closer to standard might also be considered.
Any leads or if you have parts I would love to hear from you. I know I can go to a place like Burton but my budget is so tight I can not afford forged pistons at $600.00 dollars.
This is not being restored as a race car so even if you have some good used parts that would be very helpful.
Thanks so much
Silas

Where are you Silas?

I have a very, very low mileage pre-crossflow Cortina GT engine that I have just removed from a '60 S1 Elite that had been off the road since the early Seventies. Looks to be in as new condition. You can have any parts you want for a song - but I'm in Augusta GA USA .

Trader Joes bag on the floor and US power outlets on the wall. From the angle if the sunlight through the window, I'm guessing somewhere near Portland, Oregon.

Well, that and one of his previous posts.
