Researching a RHD Elan

Do any of the UK folks have a recollection of an S3 FHC, yellow, with the number plate TAR 88E? The car is in the States these days, and I'm looking to find some history. Chassis # is 36/6412.

hi - cannot help at present but please add your cars to the 'DVLA' thread. Hoping to build up a case to get DVLA to release records to owners who have cars abroad.

TAR 88E was first registered in Chelmsford. It left the Lotus production line on 18th October 1966.
