Inside mirror in a Lotus Sprint from 1972

Hello Guys!
Long time no talk! Summer is back so the fun is back to drive our toys!
My inside mirror ( the only one cause I don't have side mirrors) is a black plastic one glued on the windshield. The little plastic flip lever that allows you to pass to night mode in order to avoid to be blinded by other cars light is broken.
Do you know if this mirror is special or common? where to get a new one, period matching.
thanks

They were always called "Dipping" Mirrors in the UK, it may help you locate one if you are searching.

My mirror doesn't have that option on my '72 Sprint.
It does have the "fall off at inappropriate times" option....
Regards
Richard.

Well, forget about originality. A dipping mirror is really convenient at night...

Dipping mirrors were not original on Elans. They were a standard Ford item as I recall.
