I wrote a letter to all the previous owners of my elan based on the v5 copy i had in my file.
The only answer i got in return was a holy one! He owned the car 22 years. And he gifted me 3 pics from 1976!
The car was named Lou Lou Belle!
What a story!

I would urge you to pull your finger out.
When I bought my Sprint back in '95 I received photos etc from the original owner (I bought the car from a dealer who gave me some contact details.). When I got the car re-sprayed last year the strip-back of paint uncovered some unexpected details so I tried my luck & wrote to him again. He still lived at the same address ! Sadly he was not in the best of health but his sister was able to pass on some more info.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that original owners will probably all be in their 70's now, so get cracking !
Best of luck,
Richard

That's great C?dric, looks like your car was originally solid Pistachio?
There is a car for sale at UK Sportscars in solid Pistachio - it looks belle!
I'm on the way to pick my car up in Vancouver, wish me luck!
