None. Unless you are sure you won't be troubled by damp.

James,
I have a Covercraft "Dustop" indoor cover for my 68 S4 DHC. They are also available in the US from Covercraft USA. I quite happily drive the car into the garage and fit the cover whilst the car, and engine, are still warm. Doesn't seem to leave a "haze" on the paintwork that something like a straight cotton cover does.

Has anyone considered MX-5 car covers? As we all know, Elans and MX-5 are roughly the same size... For them, car covers can be found on Amazon for cheap cheap!

I use the Club Lotus shop Item and its very good. Plenty room in it and its super soft too.
Well happy and a full 100% recommendation.
You dont need to be a CL member to buy.

I bought the evolution for my 70 S4. Here is the product selector for it:

What's good about it is that it is thick and cushioned, so if something does get dropped on it, it's slightly less likely to get damaged.
Merry Christmas! I hope Santa gets you what you want.

Hi,
I have had the CL shop cover for a couple of years now and am very happy with it. As Alex said, there is loads of room under it and it is soft. I did have some concerns about using a cover after reading through the threads but have not had any problems.
Chris.

Hi James.
I purchased mine via CL, you get a 10% reduction in price.
Mine was for the +2 and was the Supertex Indoor size SL, current Club Price is ?94.50 + ?11 delivery.
Very pleased with the quality and have had no problems in over 2 years of usage.
Just checked the price on Hamilton Classic Web Site and the same item is ?100 + ?11 delivery.
You can make your own selection see:-

Nice cover I have to say. Mrs B bought is as a prezzy a couple of years ago, it is the same as TJ uses I think.
Hope you like it ..
