New Elan owner

Hi everyone,
I am proud to say that I have just purchased a Lotus Elan.
It is a 1967 S3 DHC S/E.
I will post a few photos when it is delivered plus give you details of its history etc.
I am having a few jobs done first (new tyres, bushes, paint and updated replacement donut equivalents).
Can't wait!!

Welcome to the forums and congraulations on your car. We're keen to see some pictures!
I hope you will enjoy driving the car and tinkering with it.

In reply to your question, I am based in Paris and the car is coming from Sweden.
It is an S3 DHC which seems in fairly good condition having had a recent engine overhaul, but I am having one or two jobs done before it gets here
As soon as it arrives I shall post some pictures and give you a bit of historical information. I also look forward to corresponding with you all on the forum.
