A friend of the family, who used to own and race an Elan, loaned me his scrap book, so I scanned a few pages and thought you chaps might like to see them. It's mostly original photographs as well as articles (road tests and race reports).

Can anyone read the location caption on the "aircraft" photo?

For a further ten points- does anyone know what type of aircraft it is? My first thought was Blackburn Beverly but they had four engines.

Yes looks like it says Sebring 12 hrs 21March 1964 but I know nothing about aircraft.....but some say I know nothing

There is more, I just need time to scan. Lots of various road tests, especially of the racing cars and specials, going from the mid 60's up until more recent times.

The photos are originals purchased from photographers rather than printed in mags. The caption is indeed Sebring 12hrs, 21 March, Hugh Dibler/R. Rosler. No idea about the aircraft unfortunately.
